Intermediary Supporting Documentation

Application Requirements
  • Proof of Identity: Proof of identity is only required if electronic ID is unsuccessful, we will contact you if required.
  • Proof of address: Utility bill / Bank statement dated within the last three months. Proof of address is only required if electronic ID is unsuccessful, we will contact you if required.
  • Proof of Income – latest three months payslips and most recent P60, if applicable proof of pensions payments and projections.
  • Self-employed income – Average of the latest 2 years net profit which cannot be greater than the latest years figure. OR Average of the latest two years salary and dividends. Declining profits are not normally acceptable and cases will be referred at DIP stage.
  • Proof of Tenancy is required by providing evidence of the last 12 months payments.
  • Latest three monthly bank statements:
    • Details of arranged overdrafts required if not showing on the statements.
    • Online statements are acceptable providing they show full name, address and account number, they do not need to be certified.
  • Proof of deposit.
  • Certified copy of passport
  • Certified proof of address for the last 3 years

Please note that when processing the application the following accompanying documents will need to be uploaded before the application is fully submitted:

  • Proof of Income as above
  • Proof of Deposit
  • Latest 3 months Bank Statements
  • Memorandum of Sale (Shared Ownership)
  • Project Pack (Self-Project)

For non face-to face applications where supporting documents are required for security purposes, we can accept copies that have been certified by one of the following;

  • UK lawyer or notary
  • Banker
  • Authorised financial intermediary
  • FCA regulated mortgage broker
  • Accountant
  • Teacher or lecturer
  • Doctor
  • Dentist
  • Minister of religion
  • Postmaster /sub post master
  • Councillor

The person should not be related to the applicant, living at the same address as the applicant or in a relationship with the applicant.

The Direct Debit Mandate can be downloaded here or our underwriting department can supply you with one, it needs to be completed and returned to our Head Office address shown below:

Any fees that are due to be paid will be collected during the application process on the portal, please note that the application is not fully submitted until these fees are paid.
