Savings Account Service Charges – Effective 1st October 2019
A change which abolishes a charge, or reduced the amount of an existing charge, may be introduced with immediate effect and without notice. A table of the Society’s current charges is shown below –
Copy ChequesCopies of cheques made out by the Society in connection with a withdrawal from your account. |

Telegraphic Transfers (CHAPS)An electronic transfer of funds to another institution from a savings account. Fully tracked service, if requested before 2.30pm the funds will be in the receiving bank by close of business the same day. Only processed Mon – Fri, any requests received after 2.30pm or on a Saturday may be processed the next working day. |

Faster PaymentAn electronic transfer of funds up to a maximum of £10,000.00 to another institution from a savings account. This is a non trackable service and funds can take up to 24 hours to reach the receiving bank. Savings Accounts Withdrawal Limits
Online Banking Withdrawals
All withdrawals through Online Banking and the Mobile App will be processed as an Electronic Payment via the Faster Payment scheme. You will need to ensure that your Nominated Account is able to accept Faster Payments otherwise your payment may be returned. The maximum withdrawal amount to your Nominated Account is £10,000 per account per day
Limitations on withdrawals
Please also note that:
The Society does not permit you to make payments out of your account to accounts outside the UK, or in a currency other than pound sterling.
It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds in the account to meet any payment amount, withdrawals cannot be made unless you have sufficient funds in your account;
We do not permit withdrawals to be made by direct debit or Standing Order;
Cash withdrawals authorised and made on behalf of the account holder by a third party may be restricted, see our savings product guide booklet for details;
Some of the Society’s accounts have minimum holding balances that should remain following a withdrawal and these are detailed in the Special Conditions;
Some of the Society’s accounts have notice periods and these will apply in the event of a withdrawal (including closing withdrawals) of funds or transfers into a different type of account; and
