Member Representative (12 month Fixed Term Contract) (Part-time 21 hours per week)
Purpose of Role
The role of a Member Representative is pivotal in building strong relationships with our Members and delivering exceptional service. By supporting our Members and fostering a positive experience, our Member Representatives contribute significantly to the Society’s reputation and success.
As the face of the Society, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Member satisfaction through handling a variety of transactions in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. The role offers a wide variety of responsibilities, whether helping with cash transactions, aiding with technology, transacting over the phone or protecting our Members against fraud and scams, no two days will be the same!
Responsibilities
Provide a high level, distinctive and effective service during every interaction, developing relationships whilst also providing a gateway to protecting and looking after Members.
Work closely as a team member to deliver a first class, unforgettable experience, putting Members at the heart of what we do.
Efficiently processing transactions and new accounts, including accurate amendments to Member & account records.
Performing general administration work associated with the efficient operating of the branch.
Achieve positive outcomes for Members by delivering:
Member Needs:
- Proactively identifying and generatingopportunities and appointments to help Members save for their futures and own their own homes.
- Positively informing customers on the range of products and services available.
Skills and Experience
Essential :
- Minimum of GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above.
- Good numerical, written and verbal communication
- Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable:
- 3 A levels grades A-C
- Experience in Customer Services, Retail or Sales environment
