We recently visited Number 11 after awarding the charity £5,000 through our Hanley at Home Fund.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about the organisation's workshop and discussion group programme and hear how the funding will support local people across Stoke-on-Trent. Through a range of sessions covering topics such as confidence, budgeting, healthy living, resilience and communication, the programme aims to help participants build practical life skills and increase their independence.

It was great to hear about the positive impact these sessions are having and to see first-hand the dedication of the team delivering support within our community.

About the Hanley at Home Fund

The Hanley at Home Fund was created by Hanley Economic Building Society to support local organisations that help individuals develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to manage and maintain their homes and live independently. The fund provides grants to projects that promote practical life skills, financial education, housing sustainability and independent living.

Working in Partnership

The fund is delivered in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire and Shropshire, an independent charitable organisation that manages the grant programme and oversees the application process. Through this partnership, funding is distributed to community groups and charities that are making a meaningful difference across the region.

Supporting organisations through the Hanley at Home Fund is one of the many ways we continue to invest in the communities we serve, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have over the coming year. 💙
